Exploring Milford Haven and Pembroke: A Captivating Journey

Having frequented these two picturesque harbors numerous times, I felt compelled to dedicate more than one post to their charm. However, I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking…

Embarking on a Journey to Pembroke Port

As a sea captain entrusted with tankers, I find myself often visiting Pembroke, primarily due to the Valero refinery situated there. Interestingly, Milford Haven lies on the opposite side and also boasts some refinery jetties, granting me the chance to experience both harbors.

One of the remarkable aspects of these ports is the ever-changing scenery throughout the day, constant maritime activity, and the breathtaking shift of seasons. It’s safe to say there’s never a dull moment in these bustling harbors.

A Captivating Perspective from the navigating Bridge

Whenever an opportunity presents itself, I seize the chance to capture the beauty through my lens. Most of the photographs are taken from the ship I’m currently navigating. To me, these sights might seem ordinary, given my profession, but I’ve come to realize that my view offers a unique perspective, unlike what most people get to witness.
